Touchless control worked well once we got use to it. Settings were great to allow evacuation and noise level. Washing metal filters were easy. Worked just as good if not better than my Asian high flow system. Black fit my decor perfectly

Only thing I would say that isn’t as expected is the wave your hand feature to increase and decrease the fan speed. It seems to go off unexpectedly when you’re cooking in front of the stove.

We had our contractor install this fan, so I don't have an opinion on that, although it appeared to be easy as I watched them. This fan has a handsfree fan control. You wave you hand in front of it to activate different speeds on the fan. My objective was to find a fan that had strong suction to prevent the grease build up on cabinets. I won't know how effective this one is at that until it has been in for a while. It is easy to put the baffles in the dishwasher to clean. The light dims, which is nice as well. The noise level is fairly strong when on the highest suction, but I doubt that can be avoided if you want a strong pull. I would definitely buy this again.

Looks very nice. Functions as a fan a bit less than expected, I was hoping for more turnover of hot air and stems when cooking. But!!! The touch less feature is crap. it works sometimes if you wave your hand just right. Very annoying that I bought a more expensive vent hood for this feature specifically and it doesn't really work. Remote works fine. But I don't usually change the settings from another location, so its really not so helpful to go to the place I store the remote and use it, I can just go to the stove. The real thing that ruined this good for me is the touch less feature not working as advertised. It just wasn't worth the extra. You can get an equally nice hood with out that feature for way less. It's too late for me since it's installed now, but spare yourswlf the disappointment.
